Our Wedding

Born and raised in the Ironbound, it's no surprise Claudia and Kevin would eventually meet. They both went to school in Newark, went to Portuguese school in Newark—and without knowing it at the time, spent an entire weekend following Benfica around Newark (iykyk). Surprisingly, their paths only crossed in October of 2019, well into their 20's. It was only fitting that the first time they met was in... you guessed it, Newark.Their first date was later that November, and by early December they decided to be exclusive. Kevin took Claudia on a date to see the Radio City Rockettes and soak in the spirit of Christmas in NY—a day she'll never forget. In February they took a trip to Boston, which was just before the world shutdown because of COVID. However, lockdown was a great opportunity to spend time together outdoors. They soon learned they love hiking and exploring new places together. Eventually the world opened back up, and once it was okay, they took their first trip to Portugal together the Summer of 2021.Since then, they've been to Portugal many times. They love spending time with each other's families, visiting new landmarks and local spots, and most importantly watching a Benfica game at the stadium any chance they can. They've also moved into their first home, took on many DIY's, and then got engaged in December of 2024. Kevin proposed on their 5th anniversary in NY, right under the New York Palace Christmas tree. They spent that Christmas in Portugal with their family and were able to share the news of their engagement and the arrival of baby boy in 2025.Tiago was welcomed in August, and this family of 3 cannot wait to celebrate a new chapter this coming July!
